Youth

For the youth of the parish, the acolyte and video streaming ministries have been very appealing. While the video streaming is a relatively new ministry, our acolytes have a long-established tradition in the parish.

In worship at Mount Calvary, our acolytes, though often in the wings, grace our sanctuary with their quiet devotion and steadfast service. Without need for words, they move with reverence, fulfilling their sacred duties. With each candle lit and element carried, they bear the weight of our faith’s precious symbols with dignity.

The young people who have stepped forward from the pews into the lineage of Acolytes form a living bridge between our past, present, and future. While their efforts may often go unnoticed, their steadfast dedication is a beacon of light that illuminates a path for others to follow.

In their short time within our sanctuary before they venture into the world, may our acolytes carry with them not only memories, but also a deep-rooted connection to the spirit of service and love that defines our community.
