Loving God, open our hearts and minds that we may discern your will in this transition time. Grant us patience and perseverance as we seek the one whom you will send. We pray for a priest who will lead us to embody the deep and unbounded love of your Son, Jesus Christ, that is alive in our church and community. Bless and guide the Vestry and Search Team with faith and wisdom as they search for the priest who will proclaim the Gospel in our midst and serve with love, compassion and care; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Rector Position Announced
The Search Committee, in collaboration with the Transition Minister for the Diocese, has announced the Rector position opening at Mt. Calvary on various National Episcopal Church platforms, including the Episcopal News Service.
Applications will be accepted until June 15, after which we will proceed with interviews. We thank you for your support and understanding throughout this process and invite you to join us in praying for potential priests and seeking guidance from the Holy Spirit.

Completed Parish Profile
The Parish Profile Committee has dedicated many hours to meticulously analyze and compile the invaluable data gathered from the Parish Survey. Their unwavering commitment and discerning spirit have culminated in the completion of the 2025 Parish Profile, a comprehensive document that will serve as a compass in our quest to select a permanent rector for Mount Calvary. We are delighted to present this profile, recognizing its instrumental role in guiding us towards a leader who embodies the values of our faith community. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Committee for their passion and dedication in creating this tool for our congregation’s future.

Parish Survey Results
The parish survey provides valuable insights into the demographic composition, preferences, and priorities of our congregation. With 89 respondents participating, the survey covered a wide range of aspects related to our parishioners’ age, gender, length of attendance, reasons for choosing Mount Calvary, participation in church activities and ministries, as well as their opinions on sermon content, the role of the rector, and important skills for the rector. The survey results offer a comprehensive understanding of the congregation’s spiritual needs, serving as a crucial foundation for our rector search.

Mount Calvary Parish Survey
The Parish Profile Committee invites parishioners to reflect on what is important to you about our parish in the areas of liturgy, worship, and leadership, as well as the attitudes and attributes you would like to see in our next rector. The results of this survey will be incorporated into our Parish Profile, which is a document that will aid us in the discernment process.
The survey should only take about ten minutes to complete. Please contact the parish office to request an online link to the survey or a printed copy. The deadline for completing the survey is Sunday, February 16.
