Rector

Fr. Aaron and his family come to us from Jacksonville, FL. Originally from Canada, he met his wife, Meredith, in Nashville, TN, while he was attending seminary at the University of the South (Sewanee). Meredith serves as the Director of Patient Services for WeCare Jax, an organization that provides specialty care for the underserved. They have two children: Ambrose, age 12, who was born in Philadelphia, PA, and Clement, age 11, who was born in Fairhope, AL. Both are now enrolled in the East Pennsboro School District.

After completing advanced studies at General Theological Seminary in New York City, Fr. Aaron served churches in Pennsylvania, Alabama, and Florida, and also served on staff as the Canon for Evangelism for the Diocese of Florida. He has a passion for congregational development and is thrilled to be at Mt. Calvary.

Director of Christian Education

Melanie has a passion for working with children, including three of her own, and has devoted 22 years to leading the Christian education program at Mount Calvary. She looks forward to ensuring that our young people feel safe, treasured, and excited to come to church to learn about God’s presence in the world and in their lives.

Steven comes to us from nearby Mechanicsburg where he lives with his wife Lynn Cobb. He first studied with Margaret W. Powers in Manchester, NH, and at the University of New Hampshire. Currently, Steve is pursuing a PhD in American Studies at Penn State in Harrisburg where he is also an adjunct professor.

Parish Administrator

Lori has been attending Mount Calvary parish for more than 20 years and has volunteered in several capacities. Her two daughters are grown and married, so after retirement, she found working part-time as parish administrator fit her schedule. Lori is usually in the church office Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Gail has a deep passion for working with children and cherishes every interaction with them. With a love for reading, swimming, and beach outings, she fills her spare time with activities that bring her joy. A dedicated fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Gail has been a part of the Mount Calvary community for an impressive 60 years. Married with three grown children and a beloved grandson, she finds fulfillment in both her work and her family life.
